Rincon participated in the Ventura County Flood/Mud Preparedness Event on Saturday, December 8th. The Sheriffs Area Office of Emergency Service and the Public Works Agency with the County of Ventura and City of Thousand Oaks hosted the public meeting to discuss the status of the Woolsey and Hill fire burn area analysis. The meeting presented an overview of the increased risk of mudflow, landslide, and flooding in areas adjacent to and downstream of the burn areas, and advised attendees on taking the necessary steps to protect themselves and their property from those associated dangers. Rincon provided information and services related to helping support fire and mudslide areas. The event was broadcasted on the local news and Rincon’s table can be seen in the picture below!
