Rincon Consultants, Inc was founded in 1994 and has since grown into a position as a leading environmental consulting firm throughout California. With more than 50 employees in four offices, we serve both public and private sector clients stretching from San Diego to Sacramento and beyond. Our employees are leaders in their professional fields and continually work together to produce only the highest quality products. Through this combination of strong teamwork and our commitment to principal-level involvement on all projects, we consistently satisfy our clients in meeting their environmental consulting objectives.

Our firm is comprised of four technical groups, Hazardous Materials Assessment and Remediation, Environmental Sciences and Planning (CEQA/NEPA), Biological Resources Assessment and Permitting, and Sustainability Services, each of which is led by a principal of the firm. To support these groups and to conduct specialized projects, we maintain a GIS and Graphics Resources group that provides technical support for our projects. Our administration group offers firm wide support in the areas of accounting and cost tracking and reporting, human resources, technological systems operation and maintenance, and equipment and supply management.

We employ both senior and entry-level associates that all bring a unique knowledge and set of skills to the table. Staffed with certified urban planners, noise and air quality experts, LEED Accredited Professionals, professional geologists, a certified engineering geologist, registered environmental assessors (REA I and II), a doctor of environmental engineering, wildlife biologists, certified wetland specialists, botanists, and visual information specialists, we are able to take on projects of varying size and complexity.

At Rincon, we recognize that client communications and project management are the foundation upon which projects are successfully executed. Our staff enjoys extensive in-house training in combination with on-job experience in project management. These skills, coupled with our technical knowledge, allow Rincon Consultants to meet the budgetary and scheduling constraints inherent in every project while delivering excellent products.

Rincon Consultants staff possess numerous certifications and licenses to bolster our credentials in urban planning, hazardous materials assessment, and geological and hydrological engineering. Rincon is licensed by the Contractors State License Board as a General Engineering Contractor as well as a Hazardous Substances Removal Contractor. The firm is a State of California Certified Small Business Enterprise.
