Certified Arborist Services

Tree management and maintenance activities, land development, landscaping and restoration projects are just a few examples of activities that often require the services of a certified arborist. Many local agencies require that a certified arborist inventory and/or assess the health of trees within a project site proposed for development. Arborists may also be called into projects to ensure proper protection and monitoring of trees that may be at risk of damage during project implementation, to monitor their long-term health, and the health of mitigation plantings. Typical activities that may trigger the oversight of a certified arborist include:

  • Tree removal,
  • Tree pruning,
  • Excavation within the critical root zone of qualifying trees,
  • Encroachment within the critical root zone of qualifying trees,
  • Planting, or
  • Tree care activities.
