Wetland Delineation and Resource Agency Permitting, Ventura County - California State University Channel Islands

Rincon's biological team has been involved in several studies to identify and develop appropriate resource protection programs at the CSUCI campus. Preliminary studies identified the location of endangered and threatened plants, and all wetlands within the 1,000-acre campus were delineated using Corps methodologies. Rincon worked closely with the appropriate resource protection agencies to develop mitigation programs and to secure necessary 1600/404/401 permits to allow development of planned improvements to the campus. Rincon also developed, and is currently monitoring, the restoration programs.
