CALINE4 Analysis of Franciscan Promenade Shopping Center - City of Los Angeles

Rincon provided expertise in the area of air quality analyses regarding the proposed development of a shopping center at a former Superfund site in the City of Los Angeles. Initial work consisted of preparing replies with the attorneys to concerns regarding environmental documentation for the proposed project. In addition, as part of this work effort a detailed CALINE4 analysis of the effect of parking lot emissions on adjacent residential uses was prepared. The modeling included the assignment of traffic from the shopping center and an adjacent proposed church development to appropriate links within the parking lot, development of emission factors for each link, and preparation of project and cumulative scenarios.
