City of Paso Robles General Plan Update and EIR - City of Paso Robles

Rincon conducted a comprehensive update of the City of Paso Robles' General Plan, including all seven state mandated elements. In addition, Rincon is updating the City's Parks and Recreation Element. The two-year process included the creation, distribution, and analysis of a public survey, followed up by a series of public workshops. Based on this input, several alternative land use patterns were developed. Rincon combined its in-house planning and environmental expertise to coordinate the entire effort, minimizing the use of subcontractors, and ensuring a smooth and efficient blending of baseline data, policy development, and public participation. The project won an Award of Merit from the American Planning Association.
