Our team of water resources specialists consists of certified Qualified SWPPP Developers, Qualified SWPPP Practitioners, and Certified Inspectors of Sediment and Erosion Control. The water resources team at Rincon has expertise in monitoring water quality on project sites; writing Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPPs) for construction sites to receive NPDES permit coverage; consulting with government agencies to obtain permits; applying cost-effective, proven technologies to remediate waterborne contamination; and creating, restoring, or mitigating wetlands and riparian habitats. For projects involving structural changes to address water quality, such storm drain improvements, we also conduct CEQA environmental review.
Rincon analyzes the CEQA-related environmental impacts of projects that would affect local water supplies, such as water treatments systems to remove contaminants from groundwater, replacements of mains and pipelines that convey drinking water, and water appropriations and diversions. Where construction may affect biological resources, we can assess project sites for sensitive species and habitats.
