Rincon is a firm comprised of environmental scientists, geologists, biologists, planners, soil scientists, wetlands scientists and visual information specialists. The firm provides services in environmental sciences, urban planning, biological resources, and soil and groundwater assessment and remediation.

The Environmental Science and Planning group offers CEQA and NEPA compliance, urban and environmental planning, community design, contract planning, and alternative transportation planning. Environmental science specialties include noise, air quality, climate change, paleontology, and geologic hazards.

The Biological Resources group offers habitat assessment, rare species surveys, wetland delineations, restoration planning, certified arborist services, and a range of permit compliance services.

The Site Assessment and Remediation branch offers Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments, geologic and seismic studies, risk assessments, hazardous waste characterization, and site remediation.

The Sustainability Services group offers greenhouse gas emissions inventories, climate action plans, greenhouse gas emissions verification and monitoring, green building codes, LEED analysis and community solar planning.

The GIS and Graphics Resources group offers graphics, mapping, and analyses services using Geographic Information Systems (GIS), computer-aided drafting (CAD), graphic design, 3-D photosimulation, and website development.

The Cultural Resources group offers cultural resource surveys, CRHR and NRHP eligibility evaluations, CEQA and Section 106 and 110/NHPA compliance studies, archeological data recovery programs, Phase I, II, and III paleontological resources analysis, and native American consultation.
