Biological Resources Assessment

A Biological Resources Assessment is a significant stage in project planning as it assesses the effects that will occur on the surrounding natural resources. The results will provide clients with recommendations for changing the project design, moving the project site, or other possible options to minimize the effects on the environment. These assessments consist of analyzing the areas for the following: listed or otherwise projected vegetation and wildlife, nesting birds, jurisdictional drainages and wetlands, coastal waters, communities of special concern, and special biological protection areas. Our team of wildlife biologists, botanists, ecologists, and project managers has expertise in mapping sensitive biological resources, field survey design, and communicating the seasonal and regulatory limitations connected to these biological resources.
