Rincon Is Now Accepting Applications for Our Summer 2024 Internship Program!
To aspiring environmental professionals, Rincon has an exciting opportunity for you to gain valuable career experience! We are now accepting applications for our Summer 2024 internship program. Early career environmental professionals gain hands-on experience and discover what it’s like to work at a multidisciplinary environmental consulting firm. Our internships provide participants with work experience in the field of consulting and supports career growth, offers valuable industry networking opportunities with peers and professionals, and the chance to work on meaningful and exciting real-world projects.
During our paid internship program, interns will have the chance to work up to 40-hours a week for three months during the summer for the following internships:
Environmental, Engineering, and Planning Internship and Charrette (EEPIC) – Two Positions:
Work with Rincon’s Environmental Sciences, Planning and Sustainability Group on projects that span City/Government Planning (CEQA/NEPA), Climate Change Mitigation, and Sustainability Consulting. This internship also includes a two-week charrette (dates in July TBD) that will focus on a specific project for an agency with a planning challenge or goal. The mission of EEPIC is to create an internship program dedicated to recruiting and hiring college and early career interns from historically underrepresented communities. More details here.
Climate Change Intern – One Position:
Work with Rincon’s Environmental Sustainability Group on projects involving climate action and resilience services such as Climate Action and Adaptation Plans, General Plans, Community Plans, and/or other comprehensive planning documents. More details here.
Natural Resources Biology Intern – Two Positions:
Work with Rincon’s Natural Resource Team to perform entry-level professional biological resources work involving field surveys, data collection and analysis, and environmental compliance monitoring; assists in technical report preparation and regulatory permitting. More details here.
