Climate Action Plans, GHG Inventories, Plastics Ordinances

A Climate Action Plan (CAP) is a customized roadmap to reduce GHG emissions and help prepare for anticipated effects of climate change. CAPs typically include a GHG emissions inventory and forecast; GHG reduction targets; policies and implementation actions to meet the targets; an analysis of GHG reduction potential, costs, and savings for each policy or program; and an implementation and monitoring program.

Rincon also assists local and regional agencies with implementing GHG emissions reduction measures and programs identified in their CAPs, such as plastic bag and other plastics ordinances, alternative energy programs, green building codes, alternative transportation plans, and more.
